At first, sieve the Houjicha powder to get rid of any clumps and begin whisking. Houjicha powder, like Matcha and other powdered teas, can be made using the traditional whisking method. Even though it is not matcha, a lovely foam still forms which contributes to a smooth texture. One of the primary uses for Houjicha powder these days is in making Houjicha lattes. The roasted flavor of the Houjicha goes well with many milk bases.
