My Go-to Genmaicha

This is David. I wanted to highlight one of my favorite teas we offer: Genmaicha Extra Green.

This is our special blend of Genmaicha with Matcha. This blend uses a tea ceremonial grade of matcha and first flush quality Bancha. It is a highly aromatic tea but is also smooth and delicious. This is because the ceremonial-grade Matcha its natural sweetness which works well with the nutty flavor of the Genmaicha. The bancha we use is of a higher quality than other banchas offered. The higher quality bancha contributes to a smoother cup and works well with the matcha. Probably my favorite part outside of the taste of the tea is how genmaicha in general makes my whole room smell like roasted rice.
