Sweet Flowers and Coconut: Honyama Oolong

Japan does, indeed, have tea growers who are making oolong tea. It's rare, but we've been working with a supplier. 

We present to you the Honyama Oolong

Our Honyama Oolong is a rare lightly fermented Oolong tea from Honyama, Shizuoka. A passionate tea producer by the name of Tatsuji Takahashi started growing Oolong tea trees which seem to have developed well in the pristine weather of the Honyama mountainous region. 

What results is a beautiful tea with a predominant sweet coconut milk note and an enchanting aroma that I personally would describe as “sweet flowers”.
