Hoji-Genmaicha pairs the deep, toasted warmth of roasted hojicha with the nutty comfort of genmaicha's roasted rice. The result is low in bitterness and gentle on caffeine, a cup meant to be sipped slowly rather than rushed through. Its earthy, almost smoky notes settle the mind. This tea is excellent for early, quiet mornings before the day fills it with noise, and just as good in the evening when you need help winding down.

Tasting Profile:
It offers a comfortable, toasty aroma of roasted tea leaves and roasted brown rice. The genmai (roasted brown rice) slightly sweetens the roasted bancha leaves.
Den's Preferred Brewing:
Leaf-water ratio: 2-3 g (~1 tsp)/4 oz
Water: Boiled; Steep: 30 sec
2nd Cup Water: Boiled; Steep 15 sec
For a cup of Iced Tea:
Steep as directed for hot tea.
Once you brew it, put ice into the cup to lock in the aroma.
