Blending sencha with matcha is very popular in Japan. With some iterations of sencha and matcha blends, the blending is often done to mask the low quality of the sencha. Our blend uses premium quality sencha and matcha, resulting in a tea that is flavorful for both the first and second cup. It is an easy-brewing tea for those who enjoy sencha, matcha, enjoy both, or are new to both.

Tasting Profile:
The first cups invites us to enjoy matcha's sweetness and umami profile with a touch of sencha's classic bright, slightly grassy flavor. With the second cup, the sencha starts to shine more as the leftover matcha provides a softening effect to the flavor profile.
