A kyusu on the larger side, perfect brewing a mug of tea or sharing tea with two to three people. This kyusu is named Ame-iro, referring to the color of that onions have when they are cooked to a golden brown. The metal mesh of this kyusu is known as obi-ami which wraps around the inside of the pot, like the slightly smaller Midori Kyusu. This makes it great for brewing fukamushicha and other course teas that can clog some kyusu with too small of a filter.
