If you are new to Den's Tea, you may not have heard of this blend. As the name suggests, this tea consists of a blend of dried pieces of yuzu, kukicha, and matcha. Yuzu is a type of Japanese citrus. It is similar to lemons, but has a more of a complex, floral aroma.
The kukicha provides a touch of bitterness, sweetness, and astringency while the matcha rounds out these qualities and provides an umami mouthfeel. The yuzu's flavor and aroma harmonize with the kukicha and matcha, gently awakening the drinker and suffusing the surrounding air with a refreshing citrus smell. Suffice it to say, we feel that this blend is an excellent way to cap off the year.
