Another Way To Enjoy Our Gyokuro
Most people brew one or two cups of Gyokuro, then discard the tea leaves or add them to their composter. But there is another option for this high quality Sencha. You can add Ponzu (a citrus-based sauce with a tart-tangy taste) to the tea leaves and consume them. Our high quality Gyokuro is made from very young leaves which are soft and without much fiber. The steeped leaves also have good umami. It’s a tasteful snack similar to seaweed or spinach. Enjoy this vegan treat after your relaxing tea time.
