Sencha Zuiko on Ice
Sencha iced tea can be enjoyed either through cold brew or hot brew methods. Sencha Zuiko is the best Sencha for cold brew because it has more Umami than other Senchas,and it is also the best for hot brew iced tea. The trick is to brew with boiled water and make a strong (or slightly bitter) cup of Sencha before pouring it into ice. In this way, the cup will not become thin when the ice melts and the cold bitterness brings a comfortable dry mouth feeling. Savor every sip!
