Why Such A Deep Green Cup?

We hoped you enjoyed the sample of Fukamushi Sencha Matsuno with your October order. Many of you were surprised by its beautiful and vibrant green color in the cup and asked why. Our Fukamushi Sencha Matsuno is grown in the Matsuno district where the fields are surrounded by mountains and the tea plant is a special cultivar called “Okumidori”. The infused tea gets its deep green color cup, light sweetness, and little astringency from this cultivar.
