Benifuki Lemonade with Ginger

While the weather is still cold in many regions, spring will be here before we know it. If you suffer from hay fever, it might be a good time to prepare for it with Benifuki green tea. Benifuki green tea contains a special catechin, Methyl Catechin, which is known for its ability to help ease the symptoms of allergies. A study in Japan indicated that it could be even more effective if you started drinking it 45 days before the pollen season.

Benifuki is also a good tasting green tea, slightly more bitter than Sencha or other regular green tea but flavorful. Because our Benifuki green tea is a powdered tea, it’s convenient to use in beverages and to add flavor in cooking. Here is one recipe to try:

Benifuki Lemonade with Ginger (10oz)

  1. Add 2 oz hot water to 2 sticks of Benifuki powder and mix well.
  2. Add 8 oz lemonade.
  3. Add 2 teaspoons of fresh ginger squeeze.

The ginger will add additional health benefits and a slight spicy flavor resulting in a tasty, healthy drink that may make hay fever season a little more comfortable.
