Cold vs Hot Brew Iced Shincha

June is National Iced Tea Month, and to celebrate, we suggest you try Shincha iced tea. With this high quality Shincha, we encourage you to experience both cold and hot brewed iced tea.

Cold Brew:
- Hashiri or Hachiju-hachiya Shincha - 5 grams (about 2 rounded tsp)
- Cold Water - 8 oz
Simply put the tea and water into a teapot and wait for 20 minutes. Then pour into a chilled glass and enjoy a beautiful emerald green tea with no bitterness, only Umami, and a powerful natural flavor. Additionally, this premium tea can give you a second cup as delicious as the first cup! Just pour another 8 oz of cold water and infuse for 5 minutes.

Hot Brew:
- Hashiri or Hachiju-hachiya Shinha - 5 grams
- Boiling Water - 8 oz
Simply brew hot tea and pour it over ice. The aroma is locked and the tea is ready to be served. The tip is to use boiling water to draw out an intense aroma and a slight fresh bitterness. This will quench your thirst during the summer heat.
