Shincha Report Update

It was abnormally warmer in early April than the average year in Shizuoka and the new buds and leaves were flushed earlier. A long spell of fine weather also helped the production of early Shincha Kiwami and Hashiri. However, there was some colder days and rain in late April that improved the flavor of the early May Shincha harvest and we can expect Shincha Kunpu and Houryoku production in early May to result in two savory teas. We look forward to seeing what the Mother Nature will bring us!
