This small, old-fashioned shaped bowl fits neatly in your hand. The inside surface has what is known as kan-nyu (Japanese: 貫入), a cracking motif in the glaze as a result of firing. No two kan-nyu patterns are ever the same which offers uniqueness in each bowl. It can be used as a rice bowl, too.
